Your data, clearly explained
Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: August 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PoseTry: AI Photo Editor ("PoseTry", the "App", "we", "us", or "our"), developed and operated by Cuneyt Emir, handles information when you use the App.
1. Information we process
Photos and prompts
When you start an AI edit, the App prepares the selected photo, or selected photo and reference image, as JPEG data and sends it over HTTPS to our backend. We process the selected tool or preset and generated instructions, and store temporary input URLs, job status, and generated result URLs so the request can be completed and returned to you.
Photos may contain a face or other personal information visible in the image. PoseTry does not use Face ID, create a biometric identity profile, or perform face recognition for authentication. The image is nevertheless analyzed by generative AI to perform the edit you requested.
Anonymous device identifier
PoseTry does not require an account. It uses an app-specific identifier derived from Apple’s identifierForVendor, or a random identifier when that is unavailable, and stores it in the iOS Keychain. We use it to associate credits, purchases, subscription status, jobs, and abuse-prevention limits with your installation. It is not your Apple ID or advertising identifier.
Project and usage data
We process job identifiers, feature and preset selections, processing status, error information, timestamps, credit balances, subscription status, and subscription expiration information. The App also keeps project data and image copies in its private on-device storage so you can reopen and continue edits.
Purchase data
Apple processes payments. RevenueCat helps validate and restore purchases and subscriptions. We may receive the anonymous app user identifier, product identifier, transaction event identifier, subscription status, credits granted, and relevant transaction or expiration dates. We do not receive your card number, Apple ID password, or full billing details.
Notifications
If processing-complete notifications are enabled in a release and you grant permission, OneSignal may process a push subscription identifier so we can notify your device. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
Support messages
If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever information, attachments, or diagnostic details you choose to include.
2. Why we use this information
- Provide AI photo editing, previews, project history, export, and restore features.
- Manage credits, subscriptions, one-time purchases, and failed-generation refunds.
- Secure the service, enforce limits, diagnose failures, and prevent misuse.
- Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
- Comply with legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and App Store obligations.
3. Service providers
We share only the information needed to provide the relevant function with:
- Cloud storage and delivery providers, including Bunny.net: temporary storage and delivery of input and generated image files.
- Generative AI processing providers: the selected images and edit instructions may be processed through providers such as fal.ai, Kie.ai, API Mart, and the model providers they make available. The provider used can vary by tool, capacity, and fallback routing.
- RevenueCat: purchase validation, entitlement, and subscription management. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
- Apple: App Store distribution, payment processing, subscriptions, refunds, and platform diagnostics. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
- OneSignal, when notifications are enabled: push notification delivery. See OneSignal’s Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information and do not use your photos for advertising. We do not use uploaded photos to train our own AI models.
4. Storage and retention
- Input and generated image files on our storage: scheduled for deletion after no more than 30 days. A file may be removed sooner, and a provider may apply its own shorter operational retention.
- Job, device, credit, and purchase records: retained while needed to operate the service, restore value you purchased, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion as described below.
- On-device projects and images: remain until you delete a project, clear the relevant local data, or uninstall the App. Images you explicitly save to Photos remain in your photo library until you delete them there.
- Support messages: retained as reasonably necessary to answer and document the request.
5. Security
We use HTTPS in transit, access controls, app and device identifiers, rate limiting, and restricted infrastructure access. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data. You can delete local projects in the App, manage photo and notification permissions in iOS Settings, and manage subscriptions in your Apple account.
Because PoseTry does not use accounts, include the anonymous device identifier shown by the App, if available, when making a request. We may ask for reasonable verification before acting on a request.
7. Children
PoseTry is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their country. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.
8. International processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use contractual or other lawful safeguards for international transfers.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the App or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated in the App when appropriate.
